For more than 45 years, the Division of Continuing Education (DCE) has helped extend Kansas State University’s intellectual resources through quality degree programs, lifelong learning and professional development opportunities.
The division utilizes distance learning technology to deliver affordable and accessible educational options to meet student needs. Kansas State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
Programs and Services
The division's educational offerings include:
- Bachelor's degree completion programs, master's degrees, a Ph.D. and certificate/endorsement programs
- Hundreds of online courses each term
- Coordination for approximately 350 conferences and noncredit programs each year
- Professional development opportunities
DCE provides student services to support distance students in reaching academic success at K-State. The division's faculty services assist instructors who develop and teach online courses.
