Courses at K-State
This site lists the on-campus courses for each semester for day and evening courses and includes the Division of Continuing Education courses.
Course Codes
Courses are by name and number. The letters of the course code indicate the department offering the course. The three digits refer to the level at which the course is offered.
000-099: No credit toward degree requirements.
100-299: Lower division undergraduate. Designed as freshman-sophomore courses.
300-499: Upper division undergraduate. Designed as junior-senior courses.
500-699: Upper division undergraduate. Primarily for juniors and seniors, but also eligible for graduate level. Courses numbered 500 may be taken for graduate credit only in a minor field.
700-799: Graduate and upper division, primarily for graduate level.
800-899: Graduate level for Master's Degree and professional courses beyond the undergraduate level. Undergraduate registrations are not accepted.
900-999: Graduate level, primarily for doctoral candidates. Undergraduate registrations are not accepted.
