TheCourse™
Project Management Professional Training
Kansas State University has partnered with the University Learning Institute to offer a professional training and prep course for project management. The University Learning Institute is a PMI Registered Education Provider based out of Linden, Virginia. The author of TheCourse, a project manager since 1965, traveled 2,400 miles over several weekends to take a quality course to prepare for PMP® certification. Following that experience, he developed the online edition of TheCourse in 2004.
- TheCourse™ is the primary project management certification course of U.S. government agencies.
- TheCourse™ curriculum and materials have been reviewed and approved by PMI.
- Project managers are in every industry – construction, IT, banking, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and mining, to name a few.
- The rush to certification has just begun – fewer than one in 20 project managers in North America are certified.
- Program cost is $895 (Includes textbooks, workbooks, access to online instructors, and license to access ULI’s electronic server – license will remain valid for six months).
- This is a self-paced course. Students generally complete the course within two to three months, but they have online access to all course materials and lectures for six months.
- View an outline of TheCourse.
- Information on student materials.
The certificate of completion is not a professional certification to perform any duties; however The Course™ does provide excellent background that will help prepare for certification.
