Kansas State is proud of it’s 60 year history of working with military students. Today courses and degree programs are offered to military students and their families through distance education, evening college, on-campus and at the Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth military instillations. Military students bring a unique depth of experience to the classroom that is appreciated by fellow students and the faculty.

K-State’s Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Industry (Science option) is an approved degree plan for MOS 68R Veterinary Food Inspection Specialists.

Kansas State has a partnership with multiple Community Colleges’ that offers 2 Plus 2 programs. These programs allow students to earn both an associate’s degree from the community college and a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State.

Kansas State also offers nationally-award winning distance education programs. These programs allow the student to earn a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree by utilizing the latest in technology delivery online.

Kansas State is a regionally accredited institution and has a Veteran’s Administration Office on the main campus in Manhattan.
