Admission to Graduate Study
Courses are offered for graduate credit leading to a master’s degree or a limited number of courses (up to nine credit hours) can be taken without formal degree candidacy. All students must apply for admission to the Graduate School as either an Engineering degree candidate or as a special "nondegree-seeking" student, and must submit a copy of their undergraduate transcript. Special students are normally required to meet the same academic standards as other graduate students. All application materials should be sent directly to the K-State academic department to which you are applying. Admission forms and instructions are available at http://www.k-state.edu/grad/gsprospective/apply/index.htm.
Students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program should check with their advisors before registering for a course to ensure that the course meets degree requirements.
Students should consult the K-State Graduate Catalog for specific information concerning graduate student responsibilities. Additional information is available from the Graduate School, 102 Fairchild Hall, Kansas State University, Manhattan, Kansas 66506, 785-532-6191, or online at http://www.k-state.edu/grad/.
