Program Outline

K-State elementary education graduates who are licensed in English as a Second Language are qualified to teach grades K-6. They may become regular classroom teachers or may be English as a Second Language specialists at an elementary school.

Earn the first two years of college credits from the community college of your choice. Then pursue your bachelor's degree from K-State through distance education and courses offered in Southwest Kansas.

Visit the community college degree map based on the community college you are attending. If you have credits from a different college or university, contact the program coordinators to have your coursework reviewed to find out how your credits will transfer into the program.
