Checklist
- Apply for admission by returning your application to the K-State Office of Admissions AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Note ACCESS US/TQE on the top of application in BOLD.
- Request that an official transcript be mailed or faxed to the K-State Office of Admissions directly from the registrar's office of each college or university previously attended so an admissions decision can be made. Mail to: 119 Anderson Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506 or fax to 785-532-6393.
- Send an unofficial copy of all college transcripts from previous schools to Gayla Lohfink AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Address: 103 Sharecropper Rd. , Holcomb, KS 67851
- Contact the Financial Aid Advisor at your host Community College and identify yourself as an Access Us student in the Elementary Education ESL program.
- Apply for financial assistance by March 1, the priority deadline for K-State. Complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). You may obtain a FAFSA packet from the financial aid office closest to you, or complete the FAFSA online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. The K-State financial code is 001928.
- Enroll in classes at the Community College and at K-State. (Remember course names and reference numbers to put on your Consortium Agreement Form.)
- Fill out K-State Consortium Agreement Form (pick up from Gayla Lohfink, Elva Solis, or CC Financial Aid Advisor).
- Return Consortium agreement to Gayla or Elva to sign and fax to K-State financial aid office.
- Contact the K-State Cashier's Office if you would like to sign up for direct deposit of your financial aid.
- Apply for the Access Us Scholarship at http://www.accessusks.org./
- Apply for K-State scholarships by Feb. 1 at www.k-state.edu/sfa/scholarships/ Questions? Contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance at www.k-state.edu/sfa.
- Establish your eID at http://eid.k-state.edu.
- Attend Community College and K-State Distance Education classes
- Pay all remaining fees for coursework AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
