The master's degree program in Curriculum and Instruction with emphasis in English as a Second Language (ESL) is designed as an advanced degree that prepares certified teachers to work with students who are English language learners.
Students may apply for a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction using the 15 graduate credit hours obtained from ESL courses as their area of emphasis. The K-State Graduate School must receive an application to the master's degree program prior to the completion of 10 hours of graduate work.
To complete the program, students must complete 31-36 graduate credit hours of coursework, including the 15 hours required for the ESL emphasis.
