Dr. Carlstrom is a faculty member at Kansas State University in the Department of Special Education, Counseling, and Student Affairs. Prior to his appointment at K-State, Dr. Carlstrom has held positions as a psychologist, community services worker, and childcare counselor. His academic and research interests include career and academic development interventions with high school and college students, interaction of mental health and career/academic issues, and multiculturalism/diversity in counseling. Dr. Carlstrom's published works include journal articles and book chapters, and he has presented at both national and international conferences.
