Prospective or practicing educational technology leaders at all levels may be admitted either as certificate seekers, master's degree seekers, or non-degree/non-certificate seekers. Basic admission requires acceptance by the K-State College of Education Graduate Studies Office, phone 785-532-5595.

In order to apply to the certificate program or master's degree program, an application for admission to a master's degree program in Educational Computing, Design, and Online Learning/Classroom Technology Specialty must be made. Acceptance requires a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, transcripts from all previous degree work, and three letters of recommendation. Included in the required statement of objectives must be a statement from the applicant that he/she also has:

• a valid K-12 teaching license
• teaching experience or the equivalent
• basic knowledge and skills with word processing, spreadsheet, and database appropriate to grade level/subject
• e-mail
• access to a high-speed internet connection (Cox, DSL, etc.)
