When is the instant message (IM) service available?
The K-State Global Campus chat service is available during business hours: Monday—Friday, 8 a.m.—5 p.m. CST.
Who receives my IM?
The K-State Global Campus Student and Faculty Services staff answer the questions. If you don't receive an immediate response, please wait or contact our office.
K-State Global Campus respects our users' privacy. All chats are saved for statistical and content analysis. This information is used to help The K-State Global Campus determine appropriate staffing levels, when to offer this service, and for staff training purposes. However, all identifiable information is removed before the chat transcripts are saved.
Statistics and chat excerpts may be used for report and publication purposes. If you wish to have your chat record deleted, please contact Lydell Cox at email@example.com. You will need to provide the time and date of your chat.

If you are a student with questions that will require confidential or identifiable information, please contact us by phone or email. We will not discuss confidential educational records or personally identifiable information via chat.
IMs containing personal attacks, profanity, hate speech or inappropriate material are prohibited. We reserve the right to block and report any chat patron at our discretion.
