Withdrawals/Status Changes
A student may withdraw from a class by written request prior to the completion of one-third of the scheduled class meetings* without a grade being recorded on the student's transcript. If a student withdraws after one-third but before two-thirds of the scheduled class meetings*, a grade of W (withdraw) will be issued.
No withdrawals will be accepted after two-thirds of the scheduled classes have been completed.
No status changes (e.g., undergraduate to graduate credit) will be accepted after one-half of the scheduled class meetings have been completed. All requests for status changes must be submitted in writing.
Failure to notify the Division of Continuing Education in writing of a withdrawal may result in a failing grade.
* All deadlines are calculated based on the number of calendar days in the course.
