Interdisciplinary Social Science (ISS) Degree
The interdisciplinary social science degree is offered by the College of Arts and Sciences. It is part of K-State’s SOCAD-4 (Servicemembers Opportunity College) agreement. SOCAD-4 is a credit-transfer agreement with any military person who has taken 30 credit hours with K-State and has a GPA of 2.0 or better. If the service member leaves the area, he or she may transfer credits back to K-State and get his or her bachelor’s degree from K-State.

- Three courses (9 credit hours) from mathematics, statistics, computer science, or logic;
- One course (3 credit hours) from General Physics I, Quantitative Analysis in Geography, Methods of Social Research, Measure Evaluation Physical Education, or Leisure Studies Research Methods and its level II prerequisite (3);
- One level III course (3 credit hours), or two level II courses.
