If you are attending Kansas Boys State, you can earn college credit through the School of Leadership Studies at Kansas State University by enrolling in EDADL 213, “Applied Leadership Skills.

Course Highlights
  • A great opportunity to enhance your leadership skills, meet new people, and best of all – receive college credit.
  • Applied Leadership Skills will begin at Boys State and continue online until the end of June.
  • This course will fulfill 3 credit hours for the Foundations and Applications Elective toward completion of the Leadership Minor at Kansas State University.
  • This unique course combines the application of government learned at Kansas Boys State with the academic discipline of leadership and how to apply leadership concepts to real-life situations.
Blended Learning
  • During the on-campus learning in early June, students will meet with their instructors during Boys State and focus on leadership skill development and reflection as they pertain to students' daily interaction as a delegate.
  • The course will continue through distance learning for three more weeks and will require students to complete assigned readings, assignments, projects, and participate in online discussions.
Cost
  • Includes tuition and fees – $781.71 for 3 credits.
