Alternative Credit Earning Opportunities
The goal of the Bachelor's Degree Completion program is to help people complete the last two years of a Bachelor of Science degree.
To reach this goal, students earn credit in many traditional and non-traditional ways:
- Regular on-campus courses including evening, summers, Intersession, short courses at K-State and at other colleges and universities
- Community-based outreach courses
- TELENET2 courses
- Video and audio courses
- Internet and Web courses
- Independent study
- Correspondence course work from other institutions
- Military training credit evaluations (pdf) (based on American Council for Education Guidelines)
- Guided studies
- Portfolio/experiential credit assessments
- Standardized test-taking
- Credit by examination/Competency assessments (pdf)
- Evaluation of Prior Learning (pdf)
