Parking
If you wish to park on campus, you must display a parking permit. Permits are $6 for the conference, and everyone requesting a permit will receive one. However, car pooling is highly recommended.
IMPORTANT: In August 2007, construction began on a 1,400-stall parking garage on the south side of the K-State campus. When completed in late 2008, the garage will more than triple the parking capacity at the K-State Student Union. During construction, visitors are required to park in the football stadium east lot on the north end of campus (along Kimball Avenue.)
Shuttle buses from the east stadium lot to the northwest side of the Union run approximately every 10 minutes on weekdays between the hours of 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Vehicles must be removed from the lot by 6 p.m. If you plan to attend the social hour and awards banquet, you will need to relocate your vehicle to a closer campus lot as indicated on the linked map below. No shuttle service is available on evenings or weekends. During those hours visitor parking is allowed in any non-reserved stall on campus.
Conference participants should allow ample time to get from the east stadium lot to the Union. Please park at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the conference.
