Location
The conference will be held at the K-State Student Union on the campus of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. The union is located on the northeast corner of 17th Street and Anderson Avenue and is across the street from the Holiday Inn at the Campus.
A permit is required to park on the K-State campus weekdays between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn, we encourage you to take advantage of complimentary hotel parking and walk to the Union and the K-State Alumni Center, location for the Monday evening dinner.
If you need to park on campus, conference parking permits are available for $3 a day at the information kiosk south of the Union. The football stadium east lot on Kimball Ave., is the only campus lot designated for visitor parking during construction of the new parking garage on the south end of campus. Please enter through Gate 8 or 9.
Shuttle buses from this lot to the northwest side of the K-State Student Union run approximately every 10 minutes from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Vehicles must be removed from the football stadium lot after 6 p.m. If you are using the shuttle service, please allow ample time to board the shuttle and be transported to the Union before to the start of the conference.
Parking stalls will be available in the K-State Alumni Center lot, located at the northwest corner of 17th Street and Anderson Avenue, for the dinner on Monday, June 23. The Alumni Center is located at the northwest corner of 17th Street and Anderson Ave. Parking in this lot is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Additional parking is available after 5 p.m. in the lot west of the Alumni Center.
Accommodations
Blocks of guest rooms have been reserved for conference participants for June 23-26 at the Holiday Inn at the Campus. A smaller number of rooms is being held for June 22. Hotel information appears below. When making your reservation, please refer to USDA-NRCS to receive the group rate. After the cut-off date, reservations at the group rate will be on a space and rate available basis.
