- EMILY CROCKER,
Vice President for Choral Publications at Hal Leonard will be with us. She joined
the publishing industry in 1989 after a successful career as a music educator. She
is an outstanding presenter and you will enjoy hearing her speak about music education
for today's teachers.
- JACK STAMP,
Professor of Music and Conductor of Bands at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he
conducts the Wind Ensemble, Symphony Band, and teaches courses in undergraduate and graduate
conducting. Come enjoy this oustanding music educator and composer.
- BRAD PRINTZ,
Our long time friend of music education, outstanding composer and Manager of the Choral
Department at Wingert Jones Music. Learn more about the craft of composing from Brad.
- DEBRA GORDON HEDDEN,
Associate Professor of Music Education at the University of Northern Iowa, has been recognized
as an outstanding teacher in Iowa by MENC and IMEA, named in MENC's Teaching Music,
October 2000. She is director of the Northern Iowa Children's Choir, and will bring us much information
about the teaching of music. Don't miss hearing this view of music education from a native Midwesterner.
