Conference Overview
THE K-STATE UNIVERSITY MUSIC SYMPOSIUM brings an array of opportunities
for all Music Educators including outstanding speakers, observation of conductors at
work with band camp and choral events, computer/technology consultation available all
week, reading sessions, social times, and much more….all showing us how to take the
successful journey that gets us where we want to be.
Who Should Attend
- Music Educators in all areas...band, choral, instrumental, general, at all levels...elementary, middle, high school
- Also private studio teachers
Plan now to join us for a relaxing yet invigorating four days!
What Past Participants Say
- Although the sessions were wonderful, what I enjoyed most about Symposium was the
fellowship with other music educators. This is my 9th Symposium and I treasure the friendships
I have made. My Symposium connections inspire me to try new ideas in my classroom and just knowing that
others have had the same experience as me means so much.
- I love the excitement and new ideas!
- The energy level and feeling of "family" is the primary strength of the entire symposium.
- I have been able to refresh some previously learned elements of teaching. I have also had a chance to re-think
some of my current teaching practices.
