Location
The main conference will be held at the Kansas Historical Society in Topeka, Kansas. The Historical Society complex and Kansas Museum of History, is located 6425 SW 6th Avenue and is only minutes from the conference hotels.
Accommodations
A block of guest rooms has been reserved for conference participants at the Clubhouse Inn and Suites for the night of October 26 at the special conference rate of $72. A block of guest rooms has also been reserved for KCSS participants at the Holiday Inn Express for the night of October 26 at the special conference rate of $79. For the Clubhouse Inn, please make your reservation on or before October 15 to receive the special rate. For the Holiday Inn, please make your reservation by September 28. Refer to Kansas Council for the Social Studies when making your reservation. After the above dates, the group rate will be on a space and rate available basis.
