Continuing Education
Attorneys
Approval is still pending. All sessions in the legal track have been submitted for CLE approval to the Kansas Continuing Legal Education Commission. Affidavits will be available for each approved session and must be signed by the session facilitators to receive credit.
Mediators
The following sessions have been approved:
- 1-3 BARJ Model, Theory and Practice
- 2-3 BARJ Implementation and Sustainability
- 3-2 Restoraive Justice in Kansas
- 4-8 Operating Restorative Justice Programs

Social Workers
All sessions (except 1-1 and opening) have been approved for credit. A certificate of attendance for CE verification will be provided at the end of each session. Those seeking CE credit from BSRB should keep a copy of their conference program to record the workshop topic and speaker(s) for each session attended in order to complete the necessary paperwork for license renewal. Materials should only be submitted to BSRB at time of renewal.
Those who plan to use conference participation for CE credit must sign in at the registration table at the start of each day. The table will be staffed throughout the conference. This is for purposes of accountability by the Division of Continuing Education at Kansas State University if the BSRB audits participants.
Professional Alcohol/Drug Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists, Masters Level Psychologists, and Counselors
The Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board (BSRB) does not pre-approve continuing education programs for these professions. Each professional is responsible for maintaining his or her own records of attendance at various conference activities.
Those who plan to use conference participation for CE credit must sign in at the registration table at the start of each day. The table will be staffed throughout the conference. This is for purposes of accountability by the Division of Continuing Education at Kansas State University if the BSRB audits participants.
A certificate of attendance for CE verification will be provided at the end of each session. These certificates must be provided to the BSRB in order to obtain credit.
Family and Consumer Sciences Professionals
All sessions (except for 1-1 and opening) have been approved for credit. A Certificate of Professional Development Units from the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (AAFCS) will be provided at the registration table. The certificate should be retained in your file to serve as documentation to the AAFCS of your participation in this activity on your Annual Reporting Form. It is the professional's responsibility to calculate the actual number of PDUs earned.
Law Enforcement
Please use the attendance certificate provided at the end of each session to report the number of hours of workshops attended to your CE governing agency.
National Certified Counselors
Kansas State University is an approved provider of continuing education by the National Board for Certified Counselors. The provider number will be printed on the certificates of attendance provided at the end of each session.
Prevention Workers
Please use the attendance certificate provided at the end of each session to report the number of hours of workshops attended to your CE governing agency.
Supervisors
State employees who are supervisors or managers will receive 4.0 hours for each full day of the conference attended.
