Registration Information
Meeting registration is now only available on site in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Please register at the New Registration desk in the Hilton Minneapolis.
*In order to present in Minneapolis, all presenters, including symposia presenters, must register and pay for the meeting. Please note that submitting an abstract does not automatically register you for the meeting. Online registration is a separate system from the abstract submission site and requires a separate login. Your username and password are not necessarily the same for the two systems.
Registration Fees
Fees listed are at the early rate. Please note the deadline to receive the early rate has been extended to Friday, April 29, 2011 by 5:00 p.m. CDT. After this deadline, fees will increase as indicated on the chart below.
The registration fee covers all program materials, morning and afternoon refreshment breaks, and the reception. Registrants are responsible for all other meals and lodging.
Please note that the daily registration fees do not include the Thursday evening reception, regardless of which day you plan to attend. You must purchase a separate reception ticket in order to attend.

Accompanying Persons
The $150 accompanying persons fee includes all hosted breaks and receptions, and a copy of the at-a-glance schedule. The accompanying person registration is offered as a courtesy to spouses and life-time partners who do NOT intend to participate in the regular academic program other than attending the presentation(s) made by their professional counterpart. Anyone who intends to participate in the academic program by interacting with poster presenters and/or attending oral presentations must pay the full registration fee.
Guests
If you have a guest accompanying you to Minneapolis, but they do not wish to participate in the meeting, you may mark them as a “Guest Only” on the registration form. Doing so allows our registration staff to keep a more accurate accounting of who is attending the social functions. Guests will receive no meeting materials and are not entitled to any refreshment breaks or the reception, unless purchased for them. Social event tickets may be purchased for guests on the registration form.
Visas and Other Documents
You are responsible for all travel arrangements, including procurement of visas, if necessary, and acquisition of currency sufficient for your stay. A formal letter of invitation for the 2011 annual meeting to help acquire visas or funding is available. If you require a personalized version of the invitation letter, please send your request to Maureen Donnelly.
Conference T-Shirts
Conference t-shirts are available for an additional fee. Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large are $20.00. XX-Large, and XXX-Large are $25.00. Deadline to order is Friday, June 3, 2011 by 12:00 noon CST. Orders must be pre-paid in order to guarantee a conference t-shirt.
Policies
Cancellation Policy
The K-State Division of Continuing Education may cancel or postpone any event or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled or postponed, the Division of Continuing Education will refund registration fees, but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.
If you must cancel your registration, please do so as soon as possible by sending an email to registration@k-state.edu with the subject line "Joint Meeting Registration". Substitutions are encouraged. If you need to make changes to your registration, go to the online registration form and log in using the username and password you created at the time of your original registration. A full refund, minus a $20.00 administrative fee, will be made if cancellation is received in writing by Kansas State University by 5:00 p.m. on June 7, 2011. After that date, due to guarantees we must give, refunds are not available. Refunds cannot be given in amounts less than $5.00.
Registrants who do not cancel their registration through Conference Registration are responsible for the total meeting registration fee even if they do not attend the meeting and have not paid the registration fee.
