All sessions, meetings, poster presentations, exhibitions, and symposia will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis; a stately St. Louis Union Station hotel that reflects the graciousness of its historic landmark location with towering ceilings, period furnishings and impeccable service.

Climate in St. Louis in July

During the summer months, air originating from the Gulf of Mexico tends to dominate the area, producing warm conditions, however, extremely hot temperatures (100 degrees or more) are expected on no more than five days per year.

Conference Attire

Casual dress is appropriate throughout the meeting. For comfort in the air-conditioned meeting rooms, a light jacket or sweater is suggested. Some suggested items that will be helpful in making your stay pleasant include an umbrella, comfortable walking shoes, and several extra changes of clothing.

Transportation Information:

The Lambert-St. Louis International Airport is located just 13 miles from downtown. St. Louis is situated at the geographic hub of the United States. The destination's location makes it possible for you to fly to St. Louis from most major U.S. cities in just two to three hours. Trans Express Shuttle

Airport transfers run every 20 minutes from 6:45 a.m. to 10:45 p.m.; hotel transfers run from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Reservations are required for transfers from the hotel after 6:30 p.m. For reservations call (314) 428-7799 or (800) 844-1985. (White vans with black lettering that reads TRANS EXPRESS). *Major credit cards accepted to downtown.

Taxi

Metrolink
Metrolink is a light rail train system connecting the main and east terminals of Lambert International Airport to the downtown area. The Hyatt Regency is the only hotel on the rail line, connecting the main and east terminals at the airport to Union Station. Total travel time is 27-30 minutes. The trains run approximately every 30 minutes from 5:02 a.m. to 12:48 a.m. Cost: approx. $3.00 to/from airport. Not recommended for people with heavy or large amounts of luggage since the station is located at the rear entrance of the mall, making it necessary to walk through the mall (approx. a 10 min. walk) to the hotel. *All other rides on the METROLINK are $2.00 each way. Metrolink tickets are sold at each stop.

Amtrak
5 blocks from hotel; taxi from Hyatt to Amtrak station is approx. $8.

Local Bus
Bi-State Transit runs directly in front of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Cost is $1.75.
