The NCED is full Wednesday and Thursday nights. The NCED will make a reservation on your behalf for an overflow hotel for those two nights. (La Quinta at a rate of $81 per night or Residence Inn at a rate of a rate of $99 for a Studio or $149 for a Penthouse.) The NCED will provide complimentary shuttle service on Thursday and Friday for guests staying at the overflow hotels. The remainder of your stay can be accommodated at the host location. To make your reservation, just use the NCED reservation form. They will communicate with you to make final arrangements.

The NCED/Marriott Conference Center Hotel, which will be the site for the Joint Meeting sessions, is located 2 miles from the University of Oklahoma campus, in Norman.

A block of rooms has been reserved for Joint Meeting participants. A group rate of $89 for guest rooms and $129 for suites per night (plus applicable city and state taxes) for one or two occupants has been arranged. Breakfast for two is included with each room reservation. Please note: No children under the age of 18 are permitted to stay over night. See the alternate accommodations below for families traveling with children. Registrations are only accepted via on-line registration, mail, or fax. Phone reservations are not accepted. Any reservations received after 13 May, 2004 will be honored on a space-available basis at the group rate. Other important information is given below.

Guest Parking: The parking at the NCED/Marriott Conference Center Hotel is ample and free.

Arrangements have been made at the Sooner Hotel and Suites, 300 Kellogg Drive, Norman, OK 73019, to accommodate families. The Sooner Hotel Cottage Suites are ideally furnished for families. Each Cottage Suite includes two queen bedrooms, living room, kitchenette, and dinette. Each Suite also includes telephone with computer modem hookup, two televisions with cable, free HBO, and a VCR. The kitchenette includes a full-sized refrigerator, coffee maker, and microwave, and service for four. Rates are $84 per night for up to four people and includes a continental breakfast. A shuttle schedule will be available at check-in. Sooner Hotel is Full.

A limited number of rooms have been reserved at the Sooner Hotel on the University of Oklahoma campus. Each room contains a mini-refrigerator, microwave, and cable TV with free HBO and a VCR. Complimentary Continental Breakfast is served in the Hotel lobby each morning. The Sooner Hotel and Suites also provides a complete line of services to cater to your every need.
