Hotel Information

The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower is the location for this year's Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists.

The Hilton Portland & Executive Tower is located in the heart of Portland. It features 782 guest rooms, 66,000 square feet of meeting space, and a pair of restaurants. With quick access to the light rail, guests have the opportunity to travel to a bevy of attractions, shops, and restaurants around the city.

Hotel Reservation Information

Hilton Portland & Executive Tower Reservations

A block of guest rooms has been reserved for Joint Meeting participants. Group rates of $157 per night (plus applicable taxes) for the main hotel and $172 per night (plus applicable taxes) for the Executive Tower have been arranged from July 20-27, 2009.

The July 1, 2009 cut-off date has passed and the few remaining rooms have been released. Reservations can still be made, but reservations will only be taken upon availability and the regular hotel rate will apply. The Paramount Hotel has added a small block of rooms as a courtesy to Joint Meeting participants. See below for more details.

Reservation Deadline

The reservation deadline to receive the conference rate is July 1, 2009.

Make your reservation early online or by calling the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower at 503-226-1611. Be sure to state that you are with the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists.

• Check-Out Time: Noon

The hotel will require an early departure charge for all guests who depart one or more days prior to their scheduled departure date. Departure dates are reconfirmed at check-in, and the fee will apply if departure date is changed after the check-in process is completed. If you wish to avoid an early departure fee, please advise the Hilton Portland & Executive Tower at or before check-in of any change in planned length of stay.

Paramount Hotel Overflow Reservations

The Paramount Hotel has offered a very small courtesy overflow group block for the Joint Meeting of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists from July 20-28, 2009 at the group rate of $149.00 plus tax, for single or double occupancy. Any reservation made above the block (12 rooms) will be based upon availability at the group rate.

Guests will have until July 10, 2009 to make their reservations, after which all rooms not reserved will be released. Any reservations made after July 10, will be based upon availability at the group rate.

Hotel Guest Parking

Overnight valet parking is $25 per night. Self-parking is available for $18 with in and out privileges. Rates are subject to change.
