IPPS 2009 Online Abstract Submission Form
We are no longer accepting abstracts for the conference.
Human issues in horticulture (HIH) deal with plants and the way that they affect people. Today, a myriad of terminology can be found to describe human issues in horticulture: urban horticulture, horticultural therapy, farming for health, city farming, public horticulture, community gardening, children’s gardening, therapeutic horticulture, socio-horticulture, and urban greening are some examples. The purpose of this symposium is to provide a forum for researchers, educators, and practitioners to discuss and develop an international perspective on human issues in horticulture terminology.
