Posters and Oral Presentations
Guidelines for Oral Presentations
Each oral presentation will be 15 minutes (12 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for questions and discussion). Computer projection will be available. Presentations must be prepared in Microsoft PowerPoint and saved to a CD or a flash drive.
Poster Presentations
The size of the posters must be no larger than 120cm width X 120cm height (4 feet X 4 feet). Posters must be set-up before 10 am on October 5 and remain up for the duration of the symposium. Posters can be mailed to the Organizing Chair of the Symposium but must be received in advance of the conference. Mailed posters will be available for pick-up by the author at the registration desk.
Manuscripts
All oral and poster papers are expected to submit a manuscript (8 page maximum). Invited papers must submit a manuscript (16 page limit).
Please follow the Acta Horticulturae guidelines which can be found at the ISHS website when preparing manuscripts. The manuscript must be in sufficiently written English to be adequately reviewed by the reviewers, if not, it will be returned to the author without review.
Please use Microsoft Word when preparing manuscripts. The deadline for submission of completed papers is September 10, 2009. Please send an electronic copy by email as an attached file to the Organizing Chair of the Symposium.
