The Great Plains Network Conference brings together network technology and cyberinfrastructure leaders from the region’s top research and education universities to explore the critical technology challenges facing the industry. Once again the meeting will take place at Plaza Embassy Suites in Kansas City, MO. This offers an intimate and collegial setting for this year’s Annual Meeting and also offers attractions that bring members to KC from all over the Midwest. Again this year the conference is being co-organized by the Greater Western Library Alliance. The conference theme is the Big Data: From Bits and Bytes to Knowledge and Insights.
Who should attend? Great Plains Network members, Greater Western Library Alliance members, and non-members both university affiliated and corporate, are encouraged to attend. Anyone who is interested in joining the Great Plains Network or the Greater Western Library Alliance, interested in cyberinfrastructure, network technology, cyber research, or advancing education and training in advanced networking technologies.
The Great Plains Network is a consortium of universities in the midwestern states, dedicated to supporting research and education through the use of advanced networking technology.
