Overview

This workshop will review the latest developments in bridge design practice and LRFD, and provide information about available resources from AASHTO/FHWA and KDOT. The workshop will address the latest capabilities and updates regarding common bridge design software, digital exchange of shop details and standard drawings, and commercial design packages, including design example applications.

Presentations will be made by bridge/transportation officials, by persons involved in software development, and by engineers who use and apply specialized computer programs in the design and construction of highway bridges. Participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions, interact with current professionals, and hear about problems and successes from those who have experienced both.
