This
workshop is designed to review the latest developments in bridge design
practices, as well as innovative systems that are making their way
into bridge engineering specifications. Topics will cover Load and
Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) specifications, design considerations,
constructiblity issues, suitability/efficiency within time constraints,
lessons learned, and projected future applications. Presentations
will be made by bridge/transportation officials and by persons involved
with fabrication, design, construction and inspection fields of highway
bridges. Participants will have ample opportunity to ask questions
and interact with current professionals. |
