A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotels listed below for program participants at the special rates listed. Please refer to Attosecond Physics when making your reservation directly with the hotels. After the cut-off dates listed, reservations will be made at the special rate on a space-available basis only.

Visitor Parking

Parking is limited on the K-State campus. If you are staying at the Holiday Inn at the Campus, the hotel is located directly across the street from the campus. You may prefer to leave your car at the hotel and walk to the K-State Student Union and the Alumni Center. If you do wish to park your car on campus, mark the appropriate area on your registration form.

Transportation from the Airport

Manhattan, Kansas is located approximately 120 miles west of Kansas City off Interstate 70. Participants have a number of transportation options between the Kansas City International Airport (Airport code: MCI) and Manhattan, Kansas.

Charter Bus

The Atttosecond Physics Conference is providing shuttle service between the Kansas City airport and the Holiday Inn at the Campus and Clarion Inn in Manhattan, Kansas. Pick-up times are tentatively scheduled for the following days and times:

KCI RoadRunner Express

KCI RoadRunner is an airport van shuttle service that runs between the Kansas City International Airport and Manhattan. Schedule information and shuttle reservations are available online or by calling toll free (in the United States) at 1-800-747-2524. Outside the United States, call 785-539-2284, or contact your travel agent. Reservations are recommended.

Fly into Manhattan Regional Airport

Great Lakes Aviation, United Airlines, and Frontier Airlines, through a code share agreement, offer round-trip flights each weekday and each weekend from Manhattan, Kansas (see flight schedule) to Kansas City and Denver on a modern Beechcraft 1900D aircraft.
