For Students

General Information

The conference has long valued the participation of students interested in the application of statistics to agricultural problems. Although student registration fees are lower, students are invited to participate fully in all aspects of the conference – as workshop attendees, as presenters of talks or posters, as conference attendees, and in social events.

Student Registration

Due to the generous support of sponsors, student rates are lower than regular participant rates. The term student refers to persons enrolled in full-time study at an academic institution. See the registration page for exact amounts.

Student Participation in the Technical Program

Students are invited to submit abstracts for contributed talks or posters and are accorded the same courtesies as regular participants. Those who take part in the program are also invited to publish the results presented in the conference proceedings. Full instructions for submitting abstracts and proceedings papers are found at the relevant portions of this website.

Financial Assistance for Out-of-State Students

Out-of-state student attendees of the conference who are first authors for paper or poster presentations may be awarded $250 in support to offset the expenses of their travel. Deadline for Application is March 2, 2018.

Students who desire this support will  complete the Student Travel Award Application and print off and complete a W-9 (be sure to sign and date the form). Mail or fax the completed W-9 form to:
