ONLINE REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. ONSITE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE at the workshop on Sunday, April 27, and at the conference on Monday, April 28, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

Konza Prairie Outing – Barbecue and Buffalo

Cost is $35 per person. This event is open to conference participants and their guests. Pre-registration is required as there will be no tickets sold onsite for this event.  The bus will leave from the Hilton Garden Inn at 4 p.m. on Monday, April 28, 2014.

Payment or an agency purchase order must be received by April 20, 2014 to receive the early registration rate.

Payment Methods

  • Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover accepted. Your credit card statement will show payment to KSU Controller’s Office IV.
  • Check: Payable to Kansas State University, FEIN 48-0771751
  • Agency Purchase Order: Before submitting your registration to your business office for processing, please fax a copy of your registration form to Conference Registration at 785-532-2422. Please provide the actual copy of the APO as soon as it is available.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If you must cancel your registration, please do so as soon as possible. Substitutions are accepted. Registration fees, less a $20 processing fee, will be refunded if notice is received in Conference Registration by April 18, 2014. To cancel or modify your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the subject line "Applied Statistics." Due to guarantees we must give prior to the conference, refunds are not available after April 18.

Registrants who do not cancel their registration in writing by April 25 are responsible for the total conference registration fee even if they do not attend the conference and have not paid the registration fee.

The Division of Continuing Education may cancel or postpone the conference because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the conference is canceled or postponed, the Division of Continuing Education will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

Letter of Invitation

If you require a visa to enter the United States and need a letter of invitation to attend the conference, please contact the conference coordinator at agconf@k-state.edu as soon as possible. The letter of invitation will be sent by mail, email or fax to the name and information provided. We will not provide assistance in securing a visa.

In the bank/wire transfer, be sure to include Division of Continuing Education, Applied Statistics in Agriculture and your last name. Once the money has been wired, you will need to email agconf@k-state.edu with the following information for each person requesting a letter of invitation:

  • name and company of person requesting letter
  • name and address for letter to be faxed, mailed or emailed to
  • fax number

The letter of invitation will NOT be sent until after the wire transfer is received.

Special Assistance

Participants with a disability who need accommodations or have special dietary requirements should indicate services needed at the time of registration. Notification by April 11, 2014 is requested to ensure that appropriate accommodations can be provided.
