ONSITE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE at the workshop on Sunday, April 26, and at the conference on Monday, April 27, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

You may also print and complete the mail/fax form and bring it with you to registration. Online registration will begin on January 12, 2015.

Registration fees for the pre-conference workshop titled ‘Statistics for Spatio-Temporal Data’ will include the following:

Payment or an agency purchase order must be received by April 1, 2015 to receive the early registration rate.

Textbook

The text book that is the basis of the workshop, Statistics for Spatio-Temporal Data by Cressie and Wikle can be ordered as part of the on-line registration, prior to April 1, 2015.

Payment Methods

  • Credit Card: Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover accepted. Your credit card statement will show payment to KSU Controller’s Office IV.
  • Check: Payable to Kansas State University, FEIN 48-0771751
  • Agency Purchase Order: Before submitting your registration to your business office for processing, please fax a copy of your registration form to Conference Registration at 785-532-2422. Please provide the actual copy of the APO as soon as it is available.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

If you must cancel your registration, please do so by April 1, 2015. Substitutions are accepted. Registration fees, less a $20.00 processing fee, will be refunded if notice is received in the conference registration office by April 1, 2015. To modify or cancel your registration, please send a written request to registration@k-state.edu with the subject line “Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture.” Due to guarantees we must give prior to the conference, refunds are not available after April 1, 2015. Registered participants who do not cancel their registration in writing by April 1, 2015 are responsible for the total registration fee even if they do not attend the conference and have not paid the registration fee.

Kansas State University may cancel or postpone this program because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If the program is canceled or postponed, registration fees will be refunded but we cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. Registration fees will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued if the program is held but the registrant is unable to attend due to travel delays or cancellations caused by inclement weather, or due to other extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of Kansas State University.

No Show Policy

Due to an increase in no shows for posters and oral sessions, the following policy has been implemented for the Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture. If an abstract is accepted, the author(s) must attend the meeting to present. If a presenting author is not registered for the 2015 Conference on Applied Statistics in Agriculture by April 1, 2015 the abstract will not be published, it will be removed from the program and it will no longer be available for presentation at the meeting.

Letter of Invitation

If you require a visa to enter the U.S. and need a letter of invitation to attend the conference, please contact the conference coordinator at agconf@k-state.edu as soon as possible. The letter of invitation will be sent by mail, email or fax to the name and information provided. We will not provide assistance in securing a visa.

In the bank/wire transfer, be sure to include K-State Global Campus, Applied Statistics in Agriculture and your last name. Once the money has been wired, you will need to email agconf@k-state.edu with the following information for each person requesting a letter of invitation:

  • name and company of person requesting letter
  • name and address for letter to be faxed, mailed or emailed to
  • fax number

The letter of invitation will NOT be sent until after the wire transfer is received.

Special Assistance

Participants with a disability who need accommodations or have special dietary requirements should indicate services needed at the time of registration. Notification by April 10, 2015 is requested to ensure that appropriate accommodations can be provided.
