Welcome to sunny Orlando! The Academic Chairpersons Conference returns to the land of sunshine and amusement for the 27th annual gathering in 2010. The Orlando/Orange County Convention and Visitors Bureau offers information on all that Orlando has to offer.
The Academic Chairpersons Conference begins on Thursday, February 11 at 7:30 a.m. and ends on Friday, February 12 at 4:30 p.m.
Pre-conference workshops will take place on Tuesday, February 9 and Wednesday, February 10 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. These workshops will be available for an additional fee. Additional information on workshops will be posted soon.
The conference provides plenty of networking opportunities with other department chairs from around the nation. Dress is casual and comfortable. You will want to bring a light sweater for added comfort in the air-conditioned meeting rooms.
Topics of interest to department chairs are presented in paper (50 minute), workshop or panel (110 minute) format.
