Conference Fee

The conference registration fee is $495 (if registered before December 31, 2008) and includes a reception, three continental breakfasts, two luncheons, all refreshment breaks, program materials, and the conference proceedings on CD. After December 31, the registration fee increases to $595. There are no discounts after December 31.

If you would like vegetarian lunches, please make your request on the registration form. Due to guarantees that must be given in advance, meal changes cannot be permitted at the conference.

Payment is required by the conference date, but it does not need to accompany your registration form. Before providing the registration form to your department's Business Office for processing, please fax a copy of your registration form to Conference Registration at 785-532-2422. Please provide the actual copy of the Agency Purchase Order (APO) as soon as it is available. K-State's Federal Employer ID number (FEIN) is 48-077175.

Refund/Cancellation Policies

Cancellation/Refund Policies

The Division of Continuing Education may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances.  If a program is canceled or postponed, the Division of Continuing Education will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies.

To receive a refund of conference fees, less a $50 processing fee, send a written request to Conference Registration by January 9, 2009. After this date, 50 percent of the registration fees will be refunded with written notification until January 23. No refund requests can be provided after January 23. All refunds will be processed after the conference dates.

Registrants who do not cancel their registration in writing through Conference Registration are responsible for the total conference registration fee even if they do not attend the conference and have not paid the registration fee.

Registration Substitutions

Paid registrations may be transferred to another representative at your institution when you notify Conference Registration in advance.

Special Assistance

A participant in a conference or non-credit program with a disability who needs accommodations or has special dietary requirements should indicate services needed at the time of registration. Early notification is requested to ensure that accommodations can be provided in a timely manner.
