Application Requirements

Do I have to take a test to enroll in the Graduate Certificate in Business Organizational Leadership Program? If not, what are the requirements?

No, you don't have to take a test. However, you must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Minimum advanced GPA on your last 60 credits on your undergraduate degree
  • Minimum 3.0 graduate GPA if you have taken graduate course work
  • Concurrent enrollment in another graduate degree program

Application Process

Applications are available online at K-State's Graduate School or at the College of Business Administration (CBA) Graduate Studies Office located in 107 Calvin Hall. Return your application along with official copies of your undergraduate and/or graduate transcripts to the CBA Graduate Studies Office. Completion of the application ensures that classroom space will be available to the applicant.

Maintenance Criteria

Certificate program students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA. If the student's GPA falls below a 3.0, he/she will be dismissed from the certificate program. The student may reapply to the program after retaking the recommended courses needed to improve the cumulative GPA. Course retakes must be approved by the CBA Director of Graduate Studies.

Work toward an MBA

All courses can be applied to the MBA program if the student wishes to pursue further study. However, full application must be made to the MBA program.
