MIOP Graduation 2006
I.O. Psychology
Eight Division of Continuing Education students graduated this year from the Master's in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (MIOP) program. Besides participating in the Graduate School Commencement or the Virtual Commencement, a few of the students also enjoyed an evening dinner celebration.
Five of the eight graduates made the trip back to Manhattan to walk across the stage at commencement. Out of those, three attended an evening reception and dinner at the Clarion. The graduates were able to invite family and friends to the dinner. Dr. Clive Fullagar, MIOP Program Director, delivered a fascinating speech about research on positive emotion. Dr. Patrick Knight and Maura Mills also attended from the Department of Psychology, and Dr. Al Cochran and Dr. Mary Lee Cochran also joined the group. Representatives from the Division of Continuing Education were Dr. Beth Unger, Dr. Betty Stevens, Dr. David Stewart, Trina McCarty, and Marcia Quick.
The other MIOP graduates were: Patricia Canada, Paula Fullwood, Megan Koopman, Marlene Page, and Fredeick Wechsler.
