2004 MIOP graduates

Friday evening the MIOP students gathered with their families and representatives from K-State. Dr. Stephen Kiefer, Dr. Clive Fullagar, Dr. Ron Downey, and Joel Lundstrom attended from the Department of Psychology. The Division of Continuing Education was represented by Dr. Betty Stevens, Dr. David Stewart, Trina McCarty, Marcia Quick, and Lindsey Lovgren.

Dr. Fullagar, MIOP Program Director, began the evening with his thoughts about what makes MIOP such a unique learning opportunity. He gave a sincere thanks to each graduate as well as their families and all the staff at K-State who make the program possible. He then turned the microphone over to the graduates. Each student took their turn introducing guests and sharing stories about their experience as MIOP students over the past two and a half years. Dr. Betty Stevens, Associate Dean of Continuing Education, congratulated each graduate individually with a plaque and gifts. The evening concluded with dinner and the cutting of a graduation cake by all seven in attendance.
