Program Costs
For the MIOP Class of 2009, the cost for K-State tuition, fees, books, and summer workshops is $25,137 for the program, excluding travel, food, lodging, local internet access, and personal student expenses. The payment schedule is as follows:
- $10,584 due on June 12, 2009
- $10,584 due on June 14, 2010
- $3,969 due on May 13, 2011
Registration Policies
Refund Policy
Tuition and fees will be prorated on a per-credit-hour basis for refunds. Students will be assessed full tuition and fees for all completed classes. Students may receive 100% tuition and fees refund, less a non-refundable fee of $500, if the class is dropped prior to 17.36% of the class duration.
Students may receive a 50% refund if the class is dropped on or before 23.15% of the class duration.
No refund is available after 23.15% of the class duration.
All refund calculations are based upon the beginning and ending date of the class, including weekends and holidays. All texts and class materials must be returned.
Drop Policy
Students may drop a class prior to 33% of the class duration, without a grade being recorded on the student’s transcript.
If a student drops after 33%, but before 62% of the class duration, a grade of "W" (Withdrawn) will be issued.
No drops will be accepted after 62% of the class duration.
All drop calculations are based upon the beginning and ending date of the class, including weekends and holidays.
Withdrawal Policy
Students may withdraw from the Program/University by submitting an official withdrawal permit from the Dean of the Graduate School. Students must also contact Trina McCarty, MIOP Program Coordinator, at trina@k-state.edu. If the student is currently enrolled in classes for the semester, the drop and refund policies above will apply.
