Psychology - Industrial/Organizational Emphasis

For the MIOP Class of 2012, the cost for K-State tuition, fees, books, and summer workshops is $26,106 for the program, excluding travel, food, lodging, local internet access, and personal student expenses.

Payment Information

An electronic bill (eBill) will be sent to your K-State e-mail address.Through this eBill, the K-State Cashier’s Office will send you a Statement of Account (SOA) invoice, for the annual tuition and fees on the 15th of the month following your formal admission to K-State. A 1.5% default charge will be assessed each month until the balance is paid in full. Please do not send payment or tuition assistance forms to the Cashier’s Office until you receive your first statement.

Each student is responsible for the full amount. If financial aid or a sponsor is paying a portion of the tuition, the student must pay the remaining balance. Please use one of the following methods to pay your tuition fees. You can access your account information online at http://isis.k-state.edu

Please remember: All payments are due the 15th of each month by 3:00p CT or the last workday prior to the 15th.

Tuition payments

  1. Cash or Check—Do not send cash in the mail. Please make cash payments in the Cashier’s Office at 212 Anderson Hall.
  2. ACH Payment (e-check)—Make an online check payment at https://commerce.cashnet.com/default.asp?client=KSU
  3. Credit Card (SMARTPAY)—SMARTPAY accepts American Express, Discover, and MasterCard (not VISA). To use this service call 1-866-546-0415 or go online at https://www.cashnetsmartpay.com/k-state
    There is a nominal fee for this service.

Tuition Installment Payment Plan

The Division of Continuing Education Tuition Installment Payment Plan (DCE-TIPP) for Annual Programs is available if you would like to spread your payments out no more than 12 months. Even if you are partially sponsored, you may spread your payments. There is a $10 charge each month you are enrolled in DCE-TIPP. The DCE-TIPP for must be filled out and returned to the K-State Cashier’s Office for processing with the first payment. This should be received in the Cashier’s Office by 4 p.m. on the 14th of each month or the last workday prior to the 14th. If payment is not received on the due date, you account will be assessed an additional 1.5% of the past due balance.

Financial Aid

If you have applied for financial aid, the SOA will list your estimated award. If financial aid is less than the balance due, you must pay the difference. If financial aid is greater than the balance due, you will receive a refund check. If you are expecting financial aid and the SOA does not have an award listed, please contact the Student Financial Aid Office at 1-785-532-6420 or 1-877-817-2287. The financial aid process takes time, so it is critical to apply for financial aid as early as possible. DO NOT wait until arrival on campus mid-July to apply for financial aid.

Sponsored Students (military or company paying all or part of your invoice.)

Students with a third party paying all or part of tuition and fees need to provide a tuition assistance form, purchase order, or other authorization of payment to K-State Cashier’s Office, 212 Anderson Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506, (785) 532-6317 or cashiers@k-state.edu. Please note company reimbursement policies are between you and your employer.

A student who needs to retake a course or takes a course out-of-sequence will be charged full tuition and fees at the current cohort rate.
