K-State at Salina offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology Management through distance education. This degree completion program is designed for students who have completed the CAD Technology Program at Manhattan Area Technical College. The Technology Management degree provides a solid understanding of the fundamental areas in management: fi nance, accounting, business, and marketing. The curriculum is designed to prepare the student for the diverse environment of the business world as it relates to Computer-Aided Drafting Technology. By combining a technical area of concentration with advanced business studies, you can be a professional who has the practical and leadership skills to move forward in business.

A CAD Technology degree allows a student a variety of job possibilities assisting engineers and architects in a variety of fi elds including architectural, structural, mechanical, machine, and civil drawings. K-State at Salina's technology management graduates are prepared for supervisory and management positions in a variety of related fi elds including academia, research, and both private and government provider agencies. Graduates can use their management and business skills to help further their CAD technology careers, as they will understand how to hire and supervise employees, train new employees, train new supervisors and managers, plan budgets, and manage inventory.
