” is published online five times each year to help distance students develop a connection with K-State, even if they never get to come to the Manhattan campus. Each issue provides information about university services, faculty and staff, campus events, and other information valuable to all Wildcats, near or far.
Conference on Issues of Arab-American Women Being Offered at K-State
Issues of Arab-American women will be the focus of a conference at Kansas State University.
The first scholarly Arab-American Women Conference, March 12-15, will cover the immigration, settlement and history of the cultural group, as well as their status within the Arab-American community and the larger American society. – Full story
Enrollment Open for K-State Arabic Course Being Offered at Fort Riley
Enrollment is currently under way for Kansas State University's Arabic I course at Fort Riley. The course is being offered from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from March 31 to May 21.
Offered for four credit hours, the course includes an introduction to the structure of modern Arabic tailored toward Iraqi dialect. Essentials of grammar, speaking, reading and writing will be taught. – Full story
