K-State to Offer Online Computer Classes for Summer 2008 Term

Kansas State University is offering online courses in computer science during the summer.

These short courses are introductions to computer applications such as spreadsheets, databases and word processing that are used in most office settings. The courses are also required for some degree programs.

Computer science courses being offered online through K-State distance education include:

  • Introduction to Information Technology, CIS 101, reference No. 90640, June 9-20.
  • Introduction to Microcomputer Spreadsheet Applications, CIS 102, reference No. 90641, June 23-July 3.
  • Introduction to Microcomputer Database Applications, CIS 103, reference No. 90642, July 7-18.
  • Introduction to Microcomputer Word Processing Applications, CIS 104, reference No. 90643, offered July 21-Aug. 1.
