With Fort Riley and Fort Leavenworth so close, it's no surprise that Kansas State University is being recognized for going the extra mile to provide military student education.

International Symposium on Beef Cattle Welfare May 28-30 at K-State
Animal welfare is one of the fastest growing concerns among consumers throughout the country, according to Dr. Dan Thomson, a Kansas State University veterinarian and expert on the impact of beef cattle production practices on cattle well-being and health.

Past Progress and Future Challenge Focus of 25th Annual Water and the Future of Kansas Conference
A quarter century of progress and challenges for the future will be the focus of the 25th annual Water and the Future of Kansas Conference Tuesday, March 25, at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Topeka.
The conference is a forum for state agency, university and organization representatives who study, plan, regulate or have an interest in influencing water management decisions.
