K-State Division of Continuing Education Awards O'Bannon Scholarships

Kansas State University's Division of Continuing Education has awarded the Maurine Allison O'Bannon Scholarship to seven distance education students for the fall 2008 semester.
The O'Bannon scholarship provides financial aid to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in a degree program through K-State's Division of Continuing Education. The scholarship honors the memory of Maurine Allison O'Bannon at K-State. Scholarships are awarded in both the fall and spring semesters.
This fall's recipients include:
Melissa Baer, senior in interdisciplinary social science, Admire; Dianne Jenkins, graduate student in youth development, Haven; Caroline Addair, senior in elementary education, and Amy Brusk, graduate student in agribusiness, both of Manhattan; and Susan Kidd, senior in dietetics, Overland Park.
From out of state: Audrey Monroe, senior in dietetics, Centennial, Colo.; and Aubrie Sellner, junior in animal sciences and industry, Granite Falls, Minn.
