K-State to Offer Online Course on Spirituality in Higher Education

Spirituality in Higher Education, or EDCEP 786, is being offered through Kansas State University's Division of Continuing Education for the 2008 summer semester.
The course will assist students in broadening their understanding of pluralism and multiculturalism by exploring the impact of spirituality and religion in higher education, particularly in the area of student development.
The course will be instructed by Christy Moran, K-State assistant professor of special education, counseling and student affairs, and is open to graduate students and upper-level undergraduate students.
“Much of the course work will be based on Robert Nash's ‘
” Moran said. “Religious Pluralism in the Academy
’ book,The course will help students broaden their understanding of the impact of spirituality and religion in higher education in general and upon student development in particular.
