Professionals in Bioscience, Food-Related Industries Turn to K-State to Boost Their Credentials in Food Safety and Security, Related Areas
Workshops, online programs and databases are just some of the ways that Kansas State University shares knowledge about the biosciences, food safety and animal health with the professionals who help ensure the safety of our food supply.
In the past 27 years, more than 4,000 scientists from across the United States and around the world have turned to Kansas State University to learn about systems of rapid identification of microorganisms found in medical specimens, foods, water and the environment. Daniel Y.C. Fung, professor of animal sciences and industry and food science at K-State, offers the Rapid Methods and Automation in Microbiology workshop each summer. Fort Riley Presents K-State Division of Continuing Education with Certificate of Appreciation for Seminars
Fort Riley management employees recently presented Kansas State University's Division of Continuing Education with a certificate of appreciation for offering a series of seminars on leadership and change management to Fort Riley civilian employees.
The Division of Continuing Education worked with Fort Riley staff and K-State faculty to plan and develop the Fort Riley Garrison Professional Development Seminar Series. The monthly seminars were offered from April through August to coincide with changes in civilian personnel management by the U.S. Army. – Full story
