K-State Distance Education Launches Wildcat Giveaway Web Site

Can't get enough of the Wildcat? Kansas State University's Division of Continuing Education is launching a giveaway Web site packed with Willie Wildcat freebies and downloads.

The Web site offers wallpapers, chat icons, coloring pages and a downloadable 2008 Willie Wildcat desk calendar that you can send to friends, family, co-workers, kids, avid sports fans and anyone else who can't get enough of K-State.

The Wildcat giveaway Web site helps extend K-State beyond campus boundaries,” said David Stewart, assistant dean of continuing education. “We hope that students and K-State friends will develop an even greater sense of connection to the university and spread their Wildcat spirit by using the giveaway site.

The giveaway Web site is part of K-State distance education's new Options Plus campaign. Options Plus gives working adults the opportunity to personalize a degree or certificate program to meet their professional needs, offering distance education and online courses, Evening College, and 2 + 2s with affiliated community colleges.

K-State continually works to develop distance education options so individuals throughout the nation and worldwide have access to the same resources as on-campus students,” Stewart said. “The giveaway Web site makes being a Wildcat more possible than ever before.
