K-State Distance Education Enrollment Currently Under Way for Summer 2007
The Division of Education at Kansas State University is currently enrolling students for distance education courses offered during summer 2007.
Through the Division of Continuing Education, K-State offers 24 distance degree programs, hundreds of courses and many certificate programs. – Full story
Music Educators Invited to K-State's 19th Annual Music Symposium, June 18-21
Kansas State University's 19th annual Music Symposium will be June 18-21 in Manhattan.
The symposium is open to all music educators, including instrumental teachers, vocal/choral teachers, private studio teachers, general music teachers at all levels of education and elementary teachers using music in their curricula. – Full story
K-State's Master of Agribusiness Program Celebrates a Decade of Providing Award-Winning Distance Education
Kansas State University's master of agribusiness program, the nation's first distance education master-level curriculum in agribusiness, is celebrating a decade of growth and success.
Led by K-State's Allen Featherstone, professor of agricultural economics, the first master of agribusiness class in 1998 had 12 students, mainly from the Great Plains region. Students and alumni of the program can now be found in 35 states and more than 18 countries. Average class size has expanded to between 20 and 25 students from every sector of the food and agribusiness industry, with an age range of 25-55. – Full story
