K-State to Offer New Online Course for Incoming Students

Kansas State University will offer the new online course “Healthful and Safe College Life,
” or EDCEP 103, this summer and in the fall 2007 semester.
The three-credit course is designed for college freshmen and students preparing to enter college. It will address pertinent health topics that impact college students and give them the knowledge to make informed decisions when faced with difficult situations.
Course topics include nutrition and fitness; mental health; sexual health; alcohol, drugs and tobacco; injury prevention; and illness prevention.
“Healthful and Safe College Life
” is supported by K-State's Lafene Health Center, the College of Education and the Division of Continuing Education.
